BIG WHITE Strata Management

All units at Big White are a part of a strata - a collective of individual units that are a part of a common property. A strata council is elected to be the managing body of the strata and to make everyday decisions that effect the whole. Duties include collecting strata fees to ensure the building in maintained in good repair, preparing the budget and financial statements and keeping a list of the names of all owners. A strata manager's role is to give advice to the elected strata council allowing them to make informed and educated decisions. It is then their role to coordinate activities in a financially responsible management manner.
